How to Deflate a Balloon Without Popping It

This trick is pretty cool. It involves poking a hole through a balloon without popping it. This is achieved just by letting the air out slowly.

Inflate the balloon until it is a good size.

When the balloon is at the size you want it to be, tie the bottom so that the air doesn't leak out.

Get a small piece of tape and stick it to the balloon. The best place to do this is at the top.

Take a pin, and very slowly poke it through the tape.

Take the pin out very slowly.

View your results. You will know if it worked if the balloon doesn't pop. If it doesn't, you did it!

If it doesn't work, keep trying.

Tips

• Slowly push the pin in.
• Slowly take the pin out.
• Using the very top of the balloon produces the best results.

Warnings

• You will experience a loud pop if it doesn't work; be ready!
